Activities

No matter what your perfect vacation entails, Postcard Inn offers it all! If youÌÎå´ÌÎÌÊre looking to relax, kickback in a hammock or lounge chair with a good book and a cocktail, or enjoy a film on our outdoor movie deck. If you like to be a bit more active, we suggest one of the many local fishing excursions or dolphin sightseeing trips. For the athletes in the group, Postcard Inn offers two gyms, surf lessons, bike rentals, and outdoor volleyball and basketball. And of course for the romantics there are plenty of long walks on the beach available.

Room Types

At the Postcard Inn, we don't believe people can have a truly rejuvenating vacation if they stay in a "cookie cutter" hotel room, so we have worked hard to create a unique Floridian look for each and every room. Our rooms contain modern amenities such as flat screen TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi, work stations, and down-filled duvets; but we have also added little extra touches so that you feel like you have truly gotten away such as vintage light fixtures, and surf photography by local St. Pete artists.

So relax, open the windows, listen to the surf and enjoy a true Florida experience in any one of our four types of rooms:

Custom King/Double Queens - Want the ability to escape the energy of our centralized pool? Our Custom Room are located on the outside perimeter of the hotel, for a very quiet escape. Choose from either a king-sized bed or two queens, and then just kick back and enjoy the ocean air.

Poolside Cabanas - Does your perfect vacation include copious amounts of time by the pool? Then we suggest choosing one of our poolside cabanas. Located on the main level, each of these rooms has a patio connected to the main pool area. So step outside, into the sun, and enjoy your vacation. Additional features include walk-in closets and in-room refrigerators.

Beach Bungalows - Enjoy the energy of the pool, while still being a level away from it all in one of our beach bungalow rooms. Each room is located on the second floor and offers a comfortable balcony that overlooks the ocean and pool - the view doesn't get any better than this! The beach bungalow room also features a lounge area that offers more space, a walk-in closet, and a refrigerator.

Garden Rooms - Enjoy the best of both worlds with one of our garden rooms. These rooms offer a short walk to the pool, without it being just outside the door. Each room has either a king-size bed or two queens and a comfortable sitting area.

Postcard Inn on the Beach offers three dining options to choose from:

Complimentary Continental Breakfast - Our continental breakfast is served daily in the main lobby. Unlike other hotels, our continental breakfast offers both hot and cold dishes, so you will be able to get the right start to your day.

Wildwood BBQ & Burger - Offering lunch and dinner daily, Wildwood serves up some of the area's most critically acclaimed barbecue dishes. Some favorites from Pit Master "Big Lou" Elrose include: slow-smoked BBQ ribs, brisket and pulled pork.

PCI Beach Bar & Snack Shack - Hungry, but don't want to spend a second more of your vacation inside than you have to? Then you will enjoy the PCI Beach Bar and Snack Shack, which serves burgers, hot dogs, pulled pork, and other short-order meals. You can also enjoy beer, spirits, and soft drinks while hanging out at the beach bar.

Events and Meetings

Are you planning an event in the St. Petersburg / Tampa / St. Pete Beach area? Postcard Inn on the Beach may have just what you need. In addition to almost 200 rooms that are right on the ocean, we also offer 2 event spaces that are perfect for a wide range of functions.

Our small room (aka "The Canteen") seats up to 40 people. This area is perfect for luncheons, group meetings, break out sessions, and a variety of presentations.

Our large room, located on the second floor, offers significantly more space. Seating up to 150 people banquet style, this space is perfect for weddings, banquets, reunions, and parties of any sort.
